The QX90 is a bind and fly quadcopter, is uses a F3 based flight controller, and has an all in one FPV camera and transmitter. Included with the QX90 is one of 3 receivers, compatible with either FRsky, Spektrum, and FlySky (frsky receiver is only compatible with international firmware and not the EU LBT firmware). Driving this quad are some 8.5x20mm motors which produce impressive power making this quad powerful enough to fly outdoors in the wind! The kit also includes two batteries which is great to get more flying done per session. The frame itself is made from a single piece of carbon fiber so the frame itself is very strong, however the main weakness is the FPV antenna which takes most of the abuse when you crash upside down. However there is an optional FPV antenna protector for it that you can buy. At around £60 / $69.99 the QX90 offers alot of fun for indoor and even outdoor FPV flying. This is currently my favorite goto micro FPV quadcopter.

3. Fire 104

If you are looking for something a little bigger and only use spektrum R/C gear, then the fire 104 is a great option. Because the frame is abit bigger it means that the FPV gear is better protected (and it looks abit cooler). Also you can upgrade the motors to use bigger props if you need more power. However despite the bigger size, the weight of the Fire 104 is still very low at just 37g (without battery). Powering this quad is the Micro Scisky 32bits Brushed Flight Control, while old is still fully capable. It uses an older F1 chip (which is pleanty good enough for micro quadcopters), and the best thing is that it has a built in Spektrum DSM2 receiver, which is why the fire 104 is so light. The only downside is that the FPV transmitter is only 16CH and it only uses a linear antenna which is not quite as good as the circular polarized antennas on the QX90 and QX70. But the camera does have a higher TVL resolution, but with a cheap antenna this will not be very noticeable, especially when you start to fly further away so that is something you will want to upgrade, although it will require some soldering.

At present, lipo battery becomes the mainstream of model airplane batteries. In everyday usage, we probably need to use three steps (recharge, discharge and maintaining). Today, I will tell everybody the right way of using the RC lipo battery from three aspects.

Recharge

When you have a lipo battery, you are in no hurry to recharge, but read the battery specification carefully first. Recharge current, voltage and temperature can not be greater than the standard of the specification. What could happen if they are higher than the standard.
1.Using batteries higher than recommended current may cause problems of the battery discharge performance, mechanical property and the safety performance, and may cause heating and leakage, can greatly reduce the battery life.
2. Recharge voltage higher than recommended voltage may cause cell overcharged, usually caused by using in wrong charge way. (Like direct current charge)
3.The recharge temperature here is not the temperature caused by recharging but the environment temperature during the process of recharging. When you find the surface temperature anomalies, you should immediately end the charging.

Discharge

1.Discharge current

Discharge current should not exceed the maximum discharge current specified by the battery. (Formula is "the number of milliampere divided by a thousand and then times the number C" equals the maximum discharge current).

2.Discharge temperature

The battery must be discharged at the range of temperature specified by specification. When the surface temperature exceeds 60 degrees, should stop using, until the battery cool down to the room temperature.

3.Over discharge

Over discharge can cause fatal effect on the battery, so it is best not to make monomer battery voltage lower than 3.7 volts.

Battery storage

Battery should be stored in a cool environment. When you store battery for a long time (more than three months), suggest you put battery in the temperature of 10 to 25 degrees and low temperature, non-corrosive gas. The process of long-term storage, charging and discharging once every three months to keep the battery active, and ensure voltage in the range of 3.8 volts.
Finally, if you don't mean to use a battery in the short term, be sure to remember that do not charge it fully before you keep it. This is to prevent the battery bulge in the process of preservation. The best maintaining method is storage. The voltage is monomer 3.8 volts

Scary disconnect experiece of players when they are playing their drones

Scariest experience to data, thought I had lost the bird.  Had it about 3000' away and coming back my way when everything suddenly disconnects.  Cannot use any features of the DJI app on my iPad air that has never given me problems.(I used a DJI drone with 2200mAh lipo battery)  I've had some tense moments in the past, so I know enought not to panic and to think things through.  I press and hold RTH button on the remote.  Nothing.  No blinking white light.   I'm afraid to close the app.  Should be noted that I'm not on wifi and there is no cached map.  I do see the birds heading in the lower right corner of the screen.  It seems to be moving.  After the initial disconnect I made sure not to move the bird.  I think I should be still pointed towards home.  I can hear nothing, I'm all alone on a hillside overlooking a medium sized lake.  No noise.  I push the stick forward to hopefully move the bird in my direction.  I hear a very, very faint buzzing.  Its getting louder! Yes!  I finally spot it and bring it to me for an immediete manual landing.  App never reconnected.  I was happy to have it backed and not in the mood to troubleshoot at this locale.  I know I need to update firmware but thats been pending for months with no issues.  WTH.  
I thought for sure the bird was gone.  Was shocked to get it back.  Have no idea what went wrong!  That's the hardest part.

I had a similar experience, I had my drone out over 2 miles when my app crashed. I flipped the S2 switch a couple of times, I heard the beeping sound, and then it quit. I flipped it again, and it started beeping again. I eventually got the Litchi app going again, and saw that my bird was on its way back. I test my RTH every once in a while by just shutting everything off, waiting a few secs and she just starts to fly back. I wonder if you had just shut your TX off if it would have just come back? Are all of your settings right? Is it set to hover instead of RTH? After viewing the footage, when the app crashed, I see myself stopping the forward motion and activating the RTH. Why the beeping stopped I have no idea, it just kept coming home.
